10 Worst Survivor Series Elimination Matches EVER - According To Dave Meltzer

7. Gangrel, Mark Henry, Steve Blackman & Val Venis Vs British Bulldog & Mean Street Posse (1999, 1/4*)

If merely reading that line-up doesn't exhaust you into submission, the match itself absolutely will despite its placement slap bang in the middle of the company's hottest ever period.

Survivor Series 1999 is a grim outlier amongst months of spectacular matches, moments and memories ingrained in audiences by the virtue of endless in-house love letters to the Attitude Era. Weighted by a main event the company knew a fortnight earlier wouldn't even be happening, the roster were haphazardly shoved into elimination matches such as this whilst the organisation figured out the best use of them all in a post-Vince Russo world.

Bulldog and The Posse were at least heels, but their mismatched mishmash of opponents straddled either side of the divide, and were all around a year past their sell by date ahead of millennium reinventions during WWE's absolute peak in 2000.

The entire elimination format was originally based on a series of individual feuds dovetailing for the spectacular visual of seeing heels and babyface collaborate on their collective conflicts. After watching sh*tshows like this, it's no wonder Vince McMahon began to grow tired of the entire concept.
