10 Worst Things Stone Cold Steve Austin Has Ever Done

3. He Stunned Stacey Keibler

Not great this, not least because it started off so innocently.

By late-2003, Stone Cold Steve Austin was an indie tribute act to himself. A Raw Authority Figure raising strictly medium amounts of hell for the most part, 'The Rattlesnake' was at least firmly back in the babyface camp to offset Eric Bischoff's evil rule over the flagship, and did the right thing by Stacy Keibler before dropping the poor woman on her head himself.

Scott Steiner threatened to do the same with a steel chair (as Austin, jarringly, was forced to repeatedly qualify) before the co-General Manager broke it all up, decking 'The Big Bad Booty Daddy' before offering Keibler a celebratory beer in the aftermath.

Her less-than-impressed response to the Miller Lite was apparently just cause for him to do half of Steiner's intended job.

Yes fans cheered, and yes different time, and yes Stone Cold's "LOL soz" shrug tried to undo any malicious intent, but the messaging from both company and character was all over the shop here. There was simply no reason to run this particular segment featuring these particular personas.
