10 Worst TNA PPV Endings Ever

2. Randy Savage Pins The Champ After A Single Punch - Turning Point 2004

TNA's second ever monthly Pay Per View suffered from an even worse ending than the first, one which saw the criminally past-it 'Macho Man' Randy Savage appear to commit a heinous crime of booking. Champions should, as a rule, be made to look strong - or at least cunning enough to keep ahold of their belt by nefarious means. Jeff Jarrett was made to look neither in Turning Point's main event, a six-man tag match between 'The Kings of Wrestling' (Jarrett, Nash and Hall) and the makeshift team of Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles and Savage. The Macho Man reportedly had a breakdown of sorts backstage, unwilling to go out and wrestle the entire match. Instead he ran out for the closing sequence only, reversing Jarrett's sunset flip and nailing him with a right hand. The pinfall followed. That's right, a man who enjoyed his peak some 15 years prior had just pinned the NWA Champion, making both he and the belt look incredibly weak in the process. It turned out to be Savage's last match ever, as he retired shortly after due to health concerns. Had he stayed, however, the rumoured plan was to have him actually win the belt from Jarrett at the next PPV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL-3mH7OHWk
