10 Worst Trends In WWE Right Now

2. Lack Of Logic In Storylines

As a general rule in WWE, if you, the viewer, can find a plot hole or ask a question about what€™s being presented on-screen, then you€™re using more logic than WWE€™s creative team. Just how did Bray Wyatt steal the Undertaker€™s powers, and how did Undertaker get them back? Why was Summer Rae trying to €˜hide€™ that she was opening Ziggler€™s present, while ignoring the camera right in front of her? Why to the heels (especially the Authority) have €˜secret€™ promos in their office, while assuming that no one else on the roster watches the broadcast? These flaws and many more are seen all the time in WWE because the writers incorporate very little logic into their scripts, leaving the viewer to accept what they see as reality, even if it€™s incredibly stupid. This is why so many older fans have stopped watching WWE€™s programming: they€™re tired of getting their intelligence insulted with constant loopholes and €˜rules€™ changes in the Universe of WWE€™s stories. If WWE would keep stories simpler while adhering to a strict set of rules on what can happen in WWE and what can€™t, people wouldn€™t dismiss wrestling as such a €˜low€™ form of entertainment. Because no one likes to watch a program where both the stories and the characters make people feel stupid for watching.
