Ok, so the artist known as Dolph Ziggler has had substantial success in WWE, which is perhaps the sole reason why he kicks this list off - it's hard to dislike Ziggler, who is one of the most popular wrestlers around today, turning in dynamic performances pretty much every time he steps foot between the ropes. What's confusing about the success of the character, is his name. Dolph Ziggler was apparently conceived as a play on Dirk Diggler, Mark Wahlberg's character in the 1997 movie, Boogie Nights. Others have claimed the bleach blonde wrestler's moniker directly relates to his passing resemblance to actor Dolph Lundgren. Whatever the case, it's a ridiculous name, and not the kind of brand which screams WWE World Heavyweight Champion. It's a testament to the talent of Nick Nemeth, the guy behind the persona, that he's had such longevity with the name in the company. If Nemeth wasn't half as talented as he is, being handed a one-dimensional gimmick - during which your only stand out feature is that you introduce yourself copious amounts of times - would have bombed spectacularly.
