10 Worst WWE Elimination Chamber Entrants Ever

7. Chris Masters (2006)

It was a toss-up between Chris Masters and Carlito for this slot, but Masters got the nod over his old tag partner. Whilst Carlito was randomly given the distinction of ousting Shawn Michaels from the match, all Masters got was co-credit for Kane's elimination before Carlito rolled him up for the pin.

Things could have been different for the 'Masterpiece' had WWE rewarded his admirable determination to improve as a worker in 2009/10. They didn't, and thus his only Chamber appearance came when he wasn't very good in-ring. In '06, Masters relied too heavily on his body and could never thrive next to super-workers like HBK or Kurt Angle.

That was the problem: as much as Masters wanted to be great, he would find himself struggling to live up to the hype once the bell rang. At New Year's Revolution, Masters looked like somebody WWE needed to protect rather than expect to improve by throwing in there with the best.
