6. Roman Reigns Vs. Baron Corbin

Ongoing as of writing as what should hopefully be the last mound of sh*t Roman Reigns has to sift through before returning to the top of the card in 2020, 'The Big Dog's battle with Baron Corbin has been almost entirely centred around that very nickname and an odd accusation from WWE's current King that has somehow been repeatedly proven true.

As resident royalty and perpetual berk, King Corbin didn't take kindly to Reigns being considered the locker room leader, instead reducing him to mangy mutt via crap dog-related craic that should have been paid off with a routine win for Roman en route to the Royal Rumble.

Instead, Corbin doubled down on the doggy stylings, sending a mascot out to a bark-filled version of his theme and shoving dog food in Roman's face ahead of their TLC match which ended in a victory for the heel when absolutely no babyfaces aided the "locker room leader" in a four-on-one attack.

This will presumably reach a canine-based conclusion on or just before the January pay-per-view, meaning that it'll be four months deep without a bright spot to speak of, and that Vince McMahon considers Baron Corbin the last big hurdle for Roman to leap. The dog days are over, but none of this is.
