1. Batista vs. Alberto Del Rio - Elimination Chamber
Batista won the Royal Rumble as a babyface that the crowd rejected, yet WWE continued to push him as a face heading into Elimination Chamber with Alberto Del Rio. They tried their best to make Del Rio look like a viable threat, but the fans just didn't care. Before the match took place, Del Rio faked an injury and then attacked Batista. It was a cheap ploy to try to get the fans to cheer Batista. They didn't. What was most memorable about the match were the chants for other things. Fans chanted these things: Bootista, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Boring and We Want Lesnar. Whenever Batista tried to make his comeback attempts the fans booed him. It was not the reaction that WWE was hoping for. The match only lasted seven minutes. Was it planned to go longer? Maybe. It would seem like a match with guys of this stature would run longer on a PPV, but WWE could have called an audible and ended it early. Batista won clean as fans mostly booed him. Two days after Elimination Chamber at the Smackdown taping, Batista cut a heel promo as WWE realized that fans didn't care for the guy anymore. It's the worst match of the year because the fans in Minneapolis completely rejected everything in this match and storyline. WWE used every trick they could to make it work, but it was a complete failure. At least they finally listened to the paying customers after this atrocity was over.
