10 Worst WWE Matches Of 2014 (So Far)

8. Royal Rumble Match

Any time a match is as disappointing as this one was it warrants a spot on a worst matches list. There is always so much anticipation for the Royal Rumble because it only happens once a year and when it's booked right it is one of the most talked about matches of the year. The 2014 Rumble match is the perfect example of how a crowd will react when it's booked wrong: booing. The booing by the crowd is what was really memorable in the Rumble match. When Batista was out there he wasn't cheered like WWE thought he would be. He got a mild reaction. When he won, there were more boos than cheers. What about Rey Mysterio at #30? Booed big time. Fans wanted Daniel Bryan. He wasn't even in the match. It was also the last night that CM Punk appeared on WWE TV because he quit the company the next day. His reaction to things in WWE at that point was similar to what a lot of us were feeling too. The work in the ring really wasn't that bad, but the booking was so disappointing that it deserves a spot on this list.
