10 Worst WWE Matches Ever (According To The Internet)

9. Goldust Vs The Ultimate Warrior (In Your House 7: Good Friends, Better Enemies)

Even at his absolute worst creatively, Vince McMahon developed a reputation of being a promoter that over-delivered if wrestlers were injured or the card - as has always been identified on posters - was suddenly subject to change.

It was a weird crowd-pleasing quirk that seemed to be a holdover from the era when selling tickets and...actually trying could still be measured in the financial report, and McMahon appeared to thrive under the pressure of doing something preposterous to make up for the change in plans.

But not at In Your House 7: Good Friends, Better Enemies.

Ultimate Warrior was back to make the monster money he was earning, and ideally with pay-per-view buys rather than the comics stacking up in Vince McMahon's garage. Admittedly, the injury to Intercontinental Champion Goldust wasn't his fault, but he was more than happy to go along with the damning waste of time masquerading as a match instead.

They stalled, Ultimate Warrior smoked Marlena's cigar, sat in Goldust's director's chair, wore Goldust's usher's hat, threatened to wear (then tear) Goldust's robe, hit a few moves on the usher and that - whatever that was - was that.

Bad enough, (Warrior's had worse), but the decision to spend nearly eight minutes on all of that was wholly unacceptable and presumably what elevated it so high as one of the worst ever.
