9. The Rock Beats Erick Rowan In Six Seconds

The Wyatt Family, following the events of Survivor Series 2016, were nowhere near the Grandest Stage.

It was one commanded by The Rock, who appeared before the main event to confirm that WWE had broken the 'Mania attendance record, itself a fabrication. He was quickly interrupted by the Wyatt Family. "This can only spell trouble...trouble for The Rock," JBL intoned solemnly. He was half-right. Wyatt promised to "eviscerate" The Rock. That, obviously, didn't happen; Rock instead mimicked his voice and droned on about eating waffles. He also said Wyatt was more likely to eat hot pockets than worlds because he is fat. Was it Wyatt in there, or Husky Harris?

It was all preamble for The Rock to beat Erick Rowan in six seconds and for John Cena to save the day. "That's gotta be some sort of record!" Michael Cole screeched. WWE and their records, Jesus Christ. Their record of creating new full-time stars in the last decade is abysmal. Why don't they care about that one?

Bray was relegated to a segment as dire as it was damaging in Dallas because Dean Ambrose had replaced him as Brock Lesnar's opponent. And look how that turned out...
