10 Worst WWE Pay-Per-View Posters Ever

4. Capitol Punishment 2011

Capitol Punishment Postet
WWE.com

I don’t know what I’m looking at here. I have no idea what WWE was going for with this one. If I look at it long enough will it make sense? Or will it cause long-term brain damage?

Everything about the Capitol Punishment 2011 poster is simply an affront to wrestling, to art, to politics and probably to life itself.

A drawing of what appears to maybe be Barack Obama, is holding back a facially deformed John Cena (with incredibly deformed fingers as well), and some sort of creature that vaguely resembles Rey Mysterio. This Mysterio-type-thing is jumping off a wooden crate for some unknown reason. The ring they are standing in has horrible dimensions, and can certainly not meet the regulated requirements.

To make things more troublesome is that Mysterio and Cena did not battle each other this night. Cena fought R-Truth, and Mysterio battled CM Punk.

I do not have a degree in art, so perhaps a trained eye may find this a brilliant statement on the plight of man or something. But for now, I strongly believe that whoever drew this should be impeached.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
