10 Worst WWE Survivor Series Matches Ever

8. King Booker Vs Batista (2006)

After a real-life fight between the pair left Batista battered enough that WWE.com actually felt the need to report on it, an eventual feud between the two seemed inevitable. But as fans so often forget, genuine animosity almost never manifests itself as sports entertainment gold.

Such was the case in 2006 after 'The Animal's return from injury failed to yield the in-ring excitement that had permeated during his maiden run with the World Heavyweight Title. A move to SmackDown in 2005 had been fraught with problems - reports emerged of Big Dave alienating the entire dressing room with an attitude Booker felt bad enough to punch into shape when the two scuffled during the filming of a SummerSlam commercial.

Perhaps unwilling to bend as they would have for others, the pair played it ultra-safe in one of the dullest topliners in company history. As the deluded 'King', Booker had been a delight, and Batista was ordinarily capable of unlocking an explosive energy whenever his brawls suffered from lethargy. Sadly, neither men got out of first gear, resulting in a dire fog of self-preservation blurring what could have been a passable affair.
