10 Worst WWE Survivor Series Matches Ever

5. Triple H Vs Vladimir Kozlov Vs Edge (2008)

Triple H deserved all the plaudits he received for an intriguing run atop SmackDown following an unexpected draft to the blue brand in 2008. 'The Game' had been a Monday Night Raw mainstay since the shows first split in 2002, controversially even used for a trade angle in which three 'regular' stars were worth one of him after Eric Bischoff temporarily lost him in a 2004 lottery.

Late in the decade though, his work at long last matched his own opinion of his ability. Not since 2000 had Hunter showed consistency and poise quite like it, especially as reigning and defending WWE Champion against a host of up-and-coming new stars on the 'B-show'.

It sadly all came crashing down at that year's Thanksgiving classic. Held under the shadow of a controversial storyline that had suggested Jeff Hardy had either been found assaulted or intoxicated at his hotel, a triple threat became a singles match between Hunter and Kozlov as a way to insert the returning Edge in the final minute. It was sadly the preceding thirteen torturous ones that won't be forgotten by fans that survived it.

The unbeaten Kozlov was fundamentally not the performer the company thought he could be, and even the in-form champion was not the man to disprove the reality. Even DX buddy Shawn Michaels would fail to find magic with the 'Moscow Mauler' months later, but at least his attempt was tucked away on Raw. This pay-per-view showpiece was a disparate dud.
