10 Worst WWE Tag Team Champions Ever

4. Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov

Be thankful for Braun Strowman, because WWE's attempts at crafting the next big monster heel have spawned dozens of duds over the years, with Vladimir Kozlov standing among the worst.

The big, burly Russian was a black hole of charisma, and wrestler so limited, he made the Ultimate Warrior look like Jushin 'Thunder' Liger. Thrust towards WWE Title contendership, Kozlov was a total flop, and WWE reneged on his singles push within a year.

Having failed to get over as a super serious wrecking machine, Vlad was eventually turned into a comedy act. He started teaming with Santino Marella, and quickly devolved to 'The Milan Miracle's' level, engaging in trite dress-up segments to the amusement of nobody not named 'Vince McMahon.'

They were portrayed as a couple of bungling goofballs, but this didn't stop WWE making Marella & Kozlov Tag Team Champions, with the duo unseating Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel in December 2010. They proceeded to stink the place up by bouncing from one daft comedy skit to another over the ensuing 76 days, struggling to put forth a single enjoyable match throughout this period, before dropping the belts back to Gabriel & Slater.
