- Won Title on February 15th, 2011 - Dropped Title on February 15th, 2011 - Zero successful defenses I went back-and-forth on including this one. On one hand, his reign didn't even last an entire episode of Smackdown. On the other hand, it's a reign that many people don't even count as being official, even though it is in the record books as a reign for Dolph. It was back when Dolph was having some sort of relationship with Vickie Guerrero, while Vickie was feuding with Edge, the World Champion at the time and also Vickie's former love interest. Vickie had banned Edge from using the Spear as his finisher, but because he used it, anyway, she stripped him of the title and awarded it to Ziggler. Good news for Dolph, right? Wrong. Later on, Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long made his return and granted Edge a shot at the title for that same show, and the ban was gone. Not too long after that, boom, Edge was the champion again, and Dolph's reign lasted all of a chunk of a single Smackdown episode. That's about as uneventful as it gets these days. It never should have counted, as it gave Dolph and Edge an extra reign to pad their stats with, which Edge certainly didn't need.
