1. Hervina
On January 31, 2000, the greatest injustice against women's wrestling in WWE occurred when Harvey Whippleman, competing in drag as Hervina, defeated The Kat in a Snow Bunny match to capture the women's title. It was painfully obvious to anyone with half a brain that Whippeman was the man under the wig but announcers Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler played stupid at first. When it was finally revealed post-victory, fans understandably groaned. At a time when the company was at its hottest, with a roster that included Chris Jericho, Triple H, The Rock, Kurt Angle and the newly debuted Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko, Creative made the decision to book such a stupid angle. Thankfully, Hervina's reign as champion was short-lived, as Jacqueline beat the ever-loving hell out of the longtime manager and took the title. Whippleman was a great manager throughout the duration of his WWE career, and an even better one as Downtown Bruno during the territorial days. He has been an extremely loyal employee during his stint with Vince McMahon's company and a key member of the crew that ensures every episode of Raw and SmackDown goes off without a hitch. Unfortunately, he failed to stand up and say "no" on the one occasion he really should have and as a result, nearly damaged the future of women's wrestling in WWE for good.
