10 Worst WWE Wrestlers Of 2014

1. Kane

When one looks back on the year 2014, it becomes more and more difficult to highlight a single wrestler who has been more underwhelming and disappointing than Kane. A key figure in the overarching Authority storyline from January through December, he was put in the position to work with some of the top stars in the industry. Yet, no one was as consistently disappointing as Kane was. Whether he was working Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan or Dolph Ziggler, Kane managed to have some of the most lackluster matches of the year against some of the best workers of the 2014. In fact, only his Extreme Rules match against Bryan stands out as something even remotely excellent. Kane is one of the most decorated and respected stars on the WWE roster, and rightfully so. But 2014 was a year in which fans debated whether or not he had lost a step...or several...between the ropes. That there was no creative development and that the character was largely the corporate stooge whose job it was to serve as the warm up or Seth Rollins or Randy Orton did not help matters when it came to convincing fans to care about the Big Red Corporate Demon...From Hell!
