10 Worst WWE Wrestlers Of 2018

4. Nia Jax

Nia Jax has gone from sympathetic figure who aimed to bark back at bullies and use her own body pride to inspire young women to a by-the-numbers heel several times in 2018. At its best (WrestleMania 34), it felt heartwarming. At its worst (every time she's played the oppressor), it's been sheer misery to watch.

In the span of 12 months, Nia has been on screen pals with Alexa Bliss, Ember Moon and Tamina. Aside from the Bliss story, which had a purpose, what good have those associations done?

Further, her matches expose some basic fundamental holes in her work. Nia, in spite of her promotion from NXT and calls from announcers claiming she's 'physically dominant', isn't up to scratch with most of the other women. She's had poor-to-awkward matches against Bliss, Ronda Rousey, Moon and others.

Add to that the fact she legit smashed golden girl Becky Lynch in the face and ruined WWE's plans for a Lynch vs. Rousey match at Survivor Series and, apart from 'Mania 34's brief glimmer of hope, it's been a rotten year.
