10 Worst WWE Wrestlers Of 2019

3. Shane McMahon

Adopting that famously deadly MMA choke "the right angle", Shane McMahon to some fans embodied "heel work 101".

You're supposed to boo the heel!

The only thing remotely "101" about Shane McMahon, fundamentally the worst, pushed WWE Superstar not named the Great Khali, is that's how many pathetic-looking rabbit punches he misses in any given match. And yet, somehow, when he manages to land one, those punches are injurious.

Shane was always an abomination of technique, but as a strong worker, in the old-fashioned sense, he got over. His work this year severed his connection with the fandom because it was as brutal as hammer to the f*cking head. His storyline with the Miz yielded some entertaining tag matches, at least in terms of layout, but his purple, death-adjacent face proved quite distracting. He looked like the pilot in 'Airplane!' within minutes of bouncing around like the jumped-up tosspot he is, and even as a heel, this was simply too annoying and unbelievable. His impression of a hard-man was more painful than haemorrhoids, and what's worse, the producers asked you to take it seriously, at Super ShowDown, when he beat the brakes off Roman Reigns with nowhere near enough assistance.

You're supposed to think he's the Worst in the World, not the Best! That's the gimmick!

Watching a guaranteed awful match. Sounds great.
