10 Worst WWF VHS Tapes Ever Released

9. WrestleMania XIV Highlights

Another 30-minute cash-grab release here, this one a Canadian Toys R Us exclusive from 1998 which came free with the purchase of an action figure. I hear you; what am I complaining about if the tape didn't cost a penny? True, it didn't, but neither does a swift kick in the nads and I wouldn€™t want that either. The content itself is utter garbage, featuring, as you might have guessed, highlights from the historically important WrestleMania XIV. However, it is not possible to take a three hour show and cut it down to thirty minutes while retaining anything worthwhile from the bouts shown, even with the exercising of two full matches from the footage. If any care had been taken in producing the video that would at least be something, but the quality of the tape itself is so wafer-thin and delicate that I suspect it will find itself chewed up and mangled inside of most VHS players before it reaches the end of its runtime. That rather negates the whole €œfree€ defence somewhat, doesn't it?
