Nothing is a lock for WrestleMania 31 yet. None of the previous nine entries and certainly not this number one match but...when Sting and Triple H stared down at Survivor Series last month, we all knew this wasnt going to be a throwaway moment, or a match headlining a B-List PPV. This was big. Not much is known about why Sting interrupted the elimination match and got The Authority fired. If a real story is followed, then maybe Sting could be getting revenge on Triple H for what happened to WCW. It might be better to follow a creative route though and simply have Sting as an avenging angel. When Triple H inevitably returns, Sting could thwart him at every turn. It would be great to watch and would infuriate The Game. This has more potential to be a good match than Taker/Sting simply because Triple H is still ring-fit (well, more so than Taker/Rock, etc.) and Sting looked in good shape for his debut. It might not be the dream match that everyone wanted to see Sting in but just to see him battling in the WWE would give the crowd reason enough to cheer. WrestleMania is all about providing WrestleMania moments and seeing Sting stood over a fallen Triple H, baseball bat in hand as a sledgehammer lies on the mat, would certainly be one for the ages.
