Do not expect a scene like the photo above. There will be no epic beer bash at WrestleMania this year. No, Austin will be watching the show on the WWE Network form the comfort of the Broken Skull Ranch. He confirmed the news on the Steve Austin show this week. This will be considered a blow to many fans. Austin doesn't make many appearances for WWE these days as he has a lot of projects that he's working on, but it's always a treat when he does. Some fans are still holding out for a Stone Cold comeback, but that is seeming less and less likely every year. Now it seems we won't even get that glass shattering Austin pop or a backstage segment. One of the highlights of last year's WrestleMania was the 'Mount Rushmore of wrestling' segment with Austin, Rock and Hogan but it looks like that really is one of those 'once in a lifetime' moments. It's possible that Austin could be deliberately swerving people if he is making an appearance but that is doubtful. Still, there's always WrestleMania 32 in Arlington, Texas, right?
