Confirming the fact on his own Twitter account, SmackDown announcer Mauro Ranallo will be in the commentary booth for the Kickoff show in full. This is actually a great opportunity for the man, because he'll have the chance to call 3 bouts on the event and strut his stuff on the grand stage WrestleMania provides. Hopefully, this leads to bigger and better things for the guy.

Ranallo has been superb since joining the SmackDown crew in January, his announcing style is distinctive and different enough that it stands out. Beforehand, there had been conjecture that Mauro would actually join the top commentary team for select matches on the main WrestleMania card. It doesn't look like that's going to happen, he'll have to make do with the pre-show.

In an interview fairly recently, the man had stated that Michael Cole was trying to push management on including Ranallo on the main show. It seems Cole was unsuccessful in that pitch, because Mauro will now only show up on the Kickoff program rather than the main pay-per-view. It's hardly a bad spot to be in.
