10 WrestleMania Main Events That Changed The Direction Of WWE

7. Randy Orton vs Batista vs Daniel Bryan - WrestleMania 30

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! After refusing to listen to the resounding fan response, the WWE finally pulled the trigger on Daniel Bryan and had him go through three huge superstars in one night at Wrestlemania 30. Ever since that 18 second match at Wrestlemania 28, the crowd response for Daniel Bryan has been amped up to an unbelievable level, even at reaching the point of an Attitude Era Austin pop at moments. The reaction to Bryan before €˜Mania 28 was always strong, even during his heel run where the whole €œYes€ and €œNo€ chants began, but from that moment on everything he touched was met with deafening approval by all. All bar the people that make the decisions. Despite his rapidly growing popularity, Bryan would find himself hitting his head against a brick wall when it came to getting the WWE Title. A brilliant set of matches followed against CM Punk before Bryan ended up as one half of Team Hell No alongside Kane. Eventually the former American Dragon€™s attention would turn to his singles career once more, with him again getting involved in the WWE Championship picture only to be screwed by seemingly anyone and everyone, including HHH, Scott Armstrong, one-time mentor Shawn Michaels, and even Al Snow. Alright, the Al Snow but isn't technically true but it felt like literally everyone was being lined up to screw Bryan at that point. After the massively negative reaction coming out of 2014€™s Royal Rumble (you€™d think they€™d have learned their lesson after that, right?), the plan was finally put in motion to give the fans what they wanted to see: Daniel Bryan going to Wrestlemania, overcoming the odds, then walking out of the PPV as the WWE Champion. Going through Triple H and then defeating Randy Orton and Batista in a triple-threat match gave Daniel Bryan and his fans the Wrestlemania moment that they had so craved. It looked as if the company had finally given in and was going to start listening to their fans more going forward, and it cannot be disputed that the whole Yes Movement had (and still has) a whole load of momentum behind it. That night when Bryan turned on the Wyatt Family in a cage, go back and watch it. The moment where he's on the top of the cage and the fans are going nuts, there's been very few reactions like that since a certain Bionic Redneck was ruling the roost. Sadly, Bryan would be injured not long after his big title win. Here€™s hoping that his recent return can see D-Bry get back to where he was at.
