10 Wrestler Scars You Need To See

"Do you have a scar?" "Sure, do you have a light?"

Wrestlers take a lot of risks in the ring - anyone who's been following the sport for any length of time has seen superstars injured, incapacitated, and sometimes even forced into early retirements. Those who are lucky enough to avoid permanent damage to their quality of life still end up with a host of aches, pains, and of course, scars. As most wrestlers end up undergoing surgery at some point in their careers - and the rest often pick up abrasions in the ring - a fan would be hard pressed to find a wrestler who doesn't have a few scars to boast. Still, there are scars... and then there are SCARS. Some wrestlers suffer particularly gruesome injuries, while some wrestle styles that leave an imprint for life. Sometimes, wrestlers' scars are even self-inflicted. This list of ten scars represents a vivid cross-section of the kinds of pain with which pro wrestlers are always flirting, if not outright dealing. Let it be a reminder of just how dangerous and difficult their jobs are, and a stern suggestion to leave what they do to the professionals. Just a note before we start - some of these pictures, particularly as we get higher up the list, are quite disturbing. Not only should they be considered not safe for work, but they're also not suitable for anybody squeamish.
