10 Wrestlers Who Admitted Their Physiques Were Drug Enhanced Bull$hit
6. The Ultimate Warrior
How do we know? Sworn court testimony, interviews, and drug test results. He was charismatic, sure, but with the attitude he had and a lack of desire to improve as a performer, The Ultimate Warrior likely wouldn't have gotten past the opening match level without steroids. He was a bodybuilder who was recruited into wrestling for looking like a bodybuilder, got his push because he was a charismatic bodybuilder, and never improved much as a performer, cutting incomprehensive promos that scared children and having terrible matches most nights. Yet for some reason, shortly after his passing, a lot of people got really angry if you mentioned Warrior using steroids even though it was about the furthest thing possible from defamation. For starters, he testified about his use and talked about it in interviews during Vince McMahon's criminal trial. After he retired, Warrior never hid his steroid use at all, even arguing their benefits if used "responsibly." During his career, his nickname in the business was The Anabolic Warrior and he even failed every single drug test he took during the period in 1992 where he shrunk to the point most people thought he was clean. It's terrible that he died young, but that doesn't mean we should rewrite history.
