The Land of All Elite can claim to have the deepest tag team wrestling roster in North America (and perhaps even the world) in this very moment.

And it's because of the likes of FTR, The Young Bucks, and Jurassic Express all putting on routinely electric performances within the squared-circle that a few of the greener and less adept units have had their numerous weaknesses somewhat exposed in recent times.

While there's no doubt a ton of potential to be found within The Varsity Blonds' Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr., in the two year's since the team's summer 2020 inception, neither star has seriously taken a moment or high-profile match by the scruff of its neck and given AEW's vocal audience something to remember them by.

In fact, despite finding themselves with a ton of TV time, arguably the group's most notable achievement to date comes in the form of Pillman being bullied by MJF and Julia Hart teasing a walk on the dark side with The House of Black.

There's still time for the youngsters to come good, but the first few bids to make them All Elite's next big tag thing have left a lot to be desired.
