4. Heath Slater And Enochlophobia

Despite weak booking and perpetual comic relief status, Heath Slater has remained a WWE stalwart for over a decade and even chalked up a handful of tag title reigns during his lengthy run with the company. And rightly so. Whether he's being squashed by legends or moaning about supporting his children, Slater always entertains in his limited window of television time.

Yet Slater's ability to elicit a response from the WWE Universe, while keeping him steadily employed, comes at tremendous personal cost. It turns out the One Man Band is afraid of performing in front of a crowd, something that just so happens to be a job requirement of virtually every WWE booking. You might be in the wrong line of work, pal.

Slater admitted his fear in an article on WWE's website, explaining that although he tries to keep it together in front of an audience, inside he's "terrified as hell." Given Slater's constant internal battle to keep his panic in check, it's remarkable he manages to set his feelings aside for the sake of the work. Those must be some kids he's got.
