10 Wrestlers At Risk Of Missing Out On The WrestleMania 38 Card
8. Liv Morgan
Anyone who has seen the Liv Forever WWE Network documentary knows Liv Morgan has a heroic ability to spin a positive out of her setbacks. She’ll be calling on that particular talent again this WrestleMania Season.
For all the talk of a women’s Revolution and pushing women to the ‘Mania main event, look back at the last few years and it’s clearly still harder for a woman to grab her WrestleMania Moment. Last year most of the women were crammed into a “tag team turmoil” match which essentially served to get their bit out of the way. Even a stalwart like Bayley was reduced to a comedy stooge role, the butt of jokes for ageing legends.
Liv’s many fans have been hoping she would finally become a fixture of one of the Women’s Titles pictures this year. Sadly, with one underwhelming title match with Becky Lynch either side of Christmas, she seems to be sliding back into the midcard pack.
Maybe pinning Doudrop at Elimination Chamber will lead to a programme between the pair, but it’s a rare optimist who would bet on that feud reaching The Show Of Shows.
