10 Wrestlers Banned From Using THEIR OWN Moves

5. Seth Rollins (Again)

Another temporary ban that has since been lifted, this story if nothing else underscores the extraordinary way in which time unfolds in wrestling.

At Night of Champions 2015, Sting lost what was just his fourth match in WWE. For those keeping count, Sting lost to Triple H at WrestleMania 31. Then, he won a pair of Raw matches - he defeated the Big Show by DQ, after which he won the subsequent impromptu tag match alongside John Cena opposite Show and Seth Rollins - before Rollins defeated him at the pape. This means that - yes! - Sting went 50/50 in his WWE run. One of the most beloved babyfaces and iconic characters in wrestling history had the same winning record as f*ckin' Mojo Rawley or someone.

It was thought to be Sting's last ever match, since a botched Buckle Bomb, which was subsequently outlawed, brought an end to his career.

Remarkably - and imagine reading these words in 2015 - the Buckle Bomb was eventually reinstated and Sting came out of retirement to work an all-time great legend run as part of which he worked a ****1/2 match alongside Shingo Takagi.
