When Goldberg debuted in WCW, he did so as an unstoppable monster of a man. He was so dominant, in fact, that he build an unprecedented winning streak of 173 matches before finally suffering defeat, and only then due to the outside(r) interference of Scott Hall with a taser. In truth, there was little more to Goldberg's "gimmick," though it was effective nonetheless. In addition to being nigh-unstoppable, he was basically a beefier "Stone Cold" Steve Austin with a stronger power game and an easily-marketable tattoo. Bald head, goatee, black trunks, black boots, and Bob's your uncle. So it should be little surprise that there wasn't much change when WWE finally decided to bring him onto their shows. He even kicked off in similar fashion, albeit not quite as grand, amassing a small winning streak over a few months to kick off his one-year WWE career.
