Goldberg's run in WWE was extremely underwhelming. He didn't have the impact that many thought he would have, which is why he ended up leaving the company just one-year after his debut. For the first couple of months it looked like WWE was actually going to use Goldberg properly. He was completely running through the entire WWE roster. That is, until he ran into Triple H. The Elimination Chamber match at SummerSlam '03 was the perfect time for Goldberg to win the World Heavyweight Championship, but in the world of WWE - especially if you're an ex-WCW guy - things are never that simple. Goldberg was a threat to Triple H's top spot on Raw. So what did 'The Game' do? Not only did he beat Goldberg at the event, but he completely destroyed him after the match was over. Triple H's nonsensical victory over Goldberg was one of the more annoying things to happen in WWE in the early-2000's. It made absolutely no sense. Burying a guy who was on a real roll in the company was a baffling decision. Goldberg had potential to be a big star in WWE and it was squandered because of Hunter's ego.
