10 Wrestlers Fans Have No Idea What They're Truly Capable Of

6. Cesaro

Is it too cynical to state that we've only seen the very best, undiluted version of Cesaro, what, three times?

The Sami Zayn series.

That propulsive, almost iconic hot tag sequence.

The mind-blowing UFO sequence at WrestleMania 37.

That's not to state that Cesaro hasn't worked several awesome matches. The John Cena double-parter was phenomenal, as was his best match opposite Roman Reigns, so that's five, at a push. But really, Cesaro is a five star wizard of a wrestler with far too many ***1/2 matches to his name.

He isn't magnetic, must-see. He doesn't glow with the intangible quality of a true TV star. But if you stick him in the Dynamite opener opposite PAC or Fénix, he gets over within minutes of a molten spectacular content festival. A guy who can blow your f*cking mind without making you reach for the fantasy booking pen is hardly a terrible role, but WWE being WWE isn't interested in booking a wrestler like Cesaro in the opening match. WWE isn't interested in booking opening matches, full stop.

His best work looks physically impossible. That UFO spot is outrageous. It's magic. It's a feat of strength, balance and poise so astounding that it looks like it should not be real. He can't do it all of the time.

But he should be doing something like it every week.
