10 Wrestlers From ECW’s Final Year You Totally Don’t Remember

3. The Prodigy & Prodigette

Now that's a group pic.

ECW stalwart Simon Diamond stands between two faces that you probs don't recognise at all. On the right, The Prodigy. The left, The Prodigette. Yes, you are now allowed to join together in a quick chorus of, 'Who the flying f*ck are those guys?'. Not many wrestling fans will remember them.

Tom Marquez played the male Prodigy, and it was bodybuilder Angel Orsini who flanked him as a female counterpart. They were regulars on ECW TV towards the end of the promotion's shelf life. Honest. ECW announcer Joey Styles even did everything in his power to talk up The Prodigy as a future star of the company.

It was definitely a case of too little, too late for that. For reference, Prodigy and Prodigette formed a group called the 'Sideshow Freaks' with a few other erm...sideshow freaks. Brace yourselves for even more head scratching once you clap eyes on what's coming next.
