7. Mickie James (WWE) & Nick Aldis (NWA)

Mickie James is a future Hall of Famer for WWE, having captured the WWE Women's Championship five times and having first-rate matches with Trish Stratus, Beth Phoenix and Asuka to name a few whilst working there. Meanwhile, Nick Aldis is the current NWA World Champion, and has helped grow the NWA brand considerably.

James met Aldis when they both worked for TNA, with them marrying in 2015 and soon after having a son. When asked ‘When did you know Mickie was the one for you?’ Aldis tweeted, ‘OK not kidding here. Literally the first time I ever saw her in person: She walked past my table at catering in Orlando and @DougWilliamsUK said to me "put your tongue back in your mouth lad, you're dribbling on the table".’

Aldis has been in the news recently. After Bruce Prichard suggested Aldis didn’t have the ‘it factor’ in his Something to Wrestle podcast, Aldis went on the attack and criticised WWE’s Senior Vice President and Mickie’s current boss, saying: “He’s full of s*** is the reality. Honestly, what he did was, he just exposed the fact that he hasn’t been paying attention to anything that’s been going on. When he was running TNA he wasn’t paying attention, he was asleep.”
