10 Wrestlers Who Left WWE Due To Injuries

9. Santino Marella

Over the last couple of years Santino has had a string of injuries which made an early retirement from the ring inevitable. He has been forced to take a number of hiatuses due to persistent niggles and even had to have a break thanks to a car accident. Finally, last summer, Santino surrendered to the mounting problems and announced his retirement at a house show in Toronto. He underwent a successful surgery on his neck, his third, and is reportedly training for a comeback. However, at 35 years old the odds are against him. There is no doubt that there is a place for him on the current roster. His comedic routines have been made to look better than they were thanks to the routines involving Adam Rose and The Bunny. Marella returned to Raw last month to promote his new movie, Jingle All the Way 2 with co-star Larry the Cable Guy. He also served as the Guest General Manager for an episode of SmackDown. Could he be the anonymous Raw GM?
