10 Wrestlers Malakai Black MUST Face In AEW

Any wrestler, young or old, can benefit from stepping into the ring with the legend that is Christian Cage. The Leader of the Peep Nation is one of the most respected veteran performers still working in the industry. His mantra to "out work everyone" will hopefully help him cross paths with many great opponents, and one of them needs to be Malakai Black.

As Black's eleven-year senior, there would be a great sense of the past vs the present between them. Cage hasn't slowed down in the ring, meaning he'd be able to put on a barnstormer with Malakai, and this could feed easily into a storyline that compares the legacy of the former World Heavyweight Champion to the dangerous striker who's still somewhat fresh to the mainstream scene.

The combination of their star-power, excellent storytelling skills and in-ring reputations would make these two a match made in heaven, and seeing Cage pull out a darker mentality to keep up with Black could add some fascinating challenges to his character.

In another lifetime, these two might have crossed paths in WWE in a throwaway match, but here this showdown could have the spotlight it deserves.
