10 Wrestlers Set For A Big Push Following WrestleMania 33
2. Finn Bálor
Finally back on WWE television following a seven-month absence, Finn Bálor looks set to pick up where he left off. 'The Demon King' returned to battle Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe on this week’s Raw, and after never truly losing the Universal Championship, he’s one of a number of wrestlers with a legitimate claim to Brock Lesnar’s shiny new belt.
Paul Heyman called out the likes of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns as potential challengers on Raw this week, but WWE could immediately install Bálor into a title program without hesitation. Alternatively, a big US Title feud with Kevin Owens might be on the cards following their interactions this week, but whatever WWE have in mind for the Demon King, it’s going to be something big.
Bálor became Universal Champion within a month of his main roster debut. The company love him, and there’s no reason to suggest his push hasn’t survived his time on the sidelines. Prior to his injury, it was clear that WWE were going to use Finn as the face to build Raw around, so we can likely expect a similar push now that he’s back in action.
