10 Wrestlers Set To Make Their WrestleMania Debuts
10. Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe is a veteran of the mat game, a critically acclaimed wrestler who has waged war in the rings of Ring of Honor, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, Japan, Mexico and back again. Currently a member of the NXT roster, he is one of the top contenders to that brand's heavyweight championship. But what if, on April 3, he was to step into a WWE ring in front of 100,000 screaming fans, a major surprise for the wrestling-loving audience? Shane McMahon could be looking for significant backup as he battles The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania. History tells us the prodigal son of WWE has always turned to younger, fresher stars for support. One of his closest friends, at least on-screen, was Test. He worked regularly with X-Pac and had the greatest match of his career with Kurt Angle, still in the infancy of his wrestling career. Turning to Joe to back him up against The Phenom would not be out of character, though it would be completely unexpected. Fans would not only have the spectacle of the match itself, but the monumental debut of one of wrestling's most celebrated in-ring workers to help make up for what has been an otherwise unspectacular billed to the industry's greatest extravaganza.
