10 Wrestlers That Are Causing A Scottish Revolution

4. Nikki Storm

Years ago, Nikki Storm seemed content to stand around ringside and act as a valet for others. Whilst doing so, she was learning how to wrestle - another product of the SWA's way of doing things. Expressive and ever-lively, Storm worked well outside the ring because she reacted to everything going on inside it.

Since, she has blossomed into a true force in women's wrestling across the United Kingdom. ICW were quick to realise what Nikki had to offer, and her 'Best In The Galaxy' character really caught fire with that promotion's audience. Meanwhile, someone else was watching, waiting for the right moment to cherry pick what was clearly a superb talent.

Signed to WWE late-last year, she was posted to NXT earlier in 2016. Storm's crowd interaction is phenomenal, and really emphasises something WWE have been missing from their female performers: that connection (heel or babyface) with live crowds.

Although diminutive in stature, Nikki Storm is a loud presence and capable of piecing together excellent matches. Few in Scotland were surprised when WWE came calling - it was only a matter of time.
