10 Wrestlers That Are Too Good For The Spot They're Currently In
7. John Morrison
John Morrison has never been a star in the eyes of WWE. During his first run he was just slotted into tag teams and had the occasionally midcard title run, but really, he should have been in the main title picture. He left the company in 2011 and went on to completely reinvent himself. He gained titles in AAA and Impact Wrestling before making his way back to WWE in 2020.
However, since his re-debut, Morrison has just played second fiddle to The Miz. The pair won the SmackDown Tag Titles at Elimination Chamber and The Guru of Greatness went on to have a brilliant Triple Threat Ladder match at WrestleMania 36, but since then he has fallen back down the card.
Why he hasn't been given a top title run is beyond me. He has a great moveset (Starship Pain notwithstanding), he's a charismatic talker and he's got an amazing physique. You would have thought that Morrison would be similar to Drew McIntyre. Return and within a year be holding one of the World Championships. This is sadly not the case for John Morrison and it really should be!
