10 Wrestlers That Couldn't Hide How Much They Hated Their Jobs

2. Vince McMahon (Monday Night Raw, October 22nd 2001)

Bret Hart And Hulk Hogan

There was a major DGAF energy to Vince McMahon as he kicked off yet another Invasion era Raw with yet another big announcement that would change the face of Sports Entertainment forever blah blah blah. Hunt the episode down on the Network if you can be at all a*sed, if only to see Linda McMahon alongside him trying to go full gangster's moll as the sassy wife of a billionaire in brutal form.

WWE Vs WCW/ECW had collapsed under the collective weight of McMahon egos, and this latest squabble between the four of them resulted in a Survivor Series main event to mercy kill the whole thing once and for all. But it wasn't what he said - it was the way he said it.

The man known for selling some of the most putrid pro wrestling sh*t as if it was solid gold couldn't be bothered to put them over anymore.

"This Alliance cr*p, rhis Invaion cr*p" felt amongst the truest words ever spoken on a WWE event, but this wasn't the sort of pipe bomb it made good business sense to drop. He finished with a flourish, taking a shot at his least favourite 'Big Four' pay-per-view. "For once, that name means what it truly is...surviving", he noted, burying one of his beloved institutions then, now and forever.
