10 Wrestlers That Have Soared Since WWE WrestleMania 35

4. Chad Gable

King Corbin
WWE

King Of The Ring losing finalist and current recipient of Vince McMahon's bilious hatred towards those he considers abnormal, Chad Gable may look no better off than he was around WrestleMania season, but he appears to at least have finally escaped the treadmill of tag team units he was forced to carry during his formative years.

Paired with great wrestlers, Gable showed an aptitude for making Jason Jordan, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Roode even better and - more importantly - more over than they were before. He's now performing the same role for his opponents, but at least he's flown solo enough to prove himself as far more than one of the company's most dynamic doubles star.

Where Gable goes following his soon-to-conclude feud with King Corbin will determine how much of a point there's been to this recent surge of short jokes and big wins. Gable's so f*cking good, man, so much so that he seems destined to fill out more "missed opportunity" lists despite an upturn in fortune. Here's hoping that this time the pessimism is without merit.
