10 Wrestlers That Have Suffered Since WWE WrestleMania 35

8. Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder

More pre-show favourites having a big night in New Jersey here, with Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder's victory unquestionably the peak of their singles and doubles careers within WWE despite the former having his lovable loser running gag gimmick axed by virtue of the win.

Stripped of cynicism, this was a worthy moment for two hard-working wrestlers who make no secret of their pro wrestling adoration. The pair have a thoroughly enjoyable podcast dedicating to collecting figures, and not just because they couldn't exactly do one on accolades. The win was, somewhat predictably, all show and no "where-are-we-gonna-go?", though.

Far from being joke champions like the B-Team or Braun Strowman and a f*cking child, the former Major Brothers received an inconsequential two-month run before The Revival took back what they probably shouldn't have been booked to lose in the first place.

Keen to be "toyetic", both Ryder and Hawkins will presumably receive countless new action figures depicting their attires for the night (tributes to Christian, and the New York Jets, respectively), isolating the titular "suffering" to life chasing the 24/7 Title on Raw.
