10 Wrestlers That Vince McMahon Hasn't Forgiven
1. Nailz
A top heel as ‘Mr Magnificent’ Kevin Kelly in the AWA in the late '80s, Kevin Wacholz jumped ship shortly before Verne Gagne closed the promotion and wound up in the WWF in early 1992 as Nailz, a convict with a grudge against a babyface Big Boss Man.
For a while it looked like Nailz was going places. His loss to the Boss Man at Survivor Series was only the beginning: his next programme would be with the Undertaker, a match-up that the crowd seemed pretty into.
Sadly for Wacholz’ bank account, it wasn’t to be. A month later, some form of financial dispute arose between him and the WWF, and Wacholz lost it, cornering Vince McMahon in his own office and screaming at him before knocking him to the floor and beginning to choke him.
He was pulled off the boss by Sgt Slaughter and a crowd of agents. His next move, inexplicably, was to call the police and demand that McMahon be charged with sexually assaulting him, claiming that this was the reason for his assault on McMahon.
Those charges were dropped shortly afterwards, but Wacholz would then insinuate himself into the steroid trial against McMahon, claiming that McMahon had personally given him steroids. Unfortunately, the government’s star witness was so keen on explaining his hatred for McMahon that it affected his credibility: the jury didn’t believe a word of it, and Wacholz actually ended up helping McMahon beat the rap.
Still, it’s unlikely that Vince sees it that way…
