10 Wrestlers Turning 40 In 2017
8. Marco Corleone
Few wrestlers in the sport manage to pick up national exposure as early in their careers as Marco Corleone did, but as time passes, even young stars grow old. In 2000, Corleone - competing under his real name, Mark Jindrak - debuted for WCW just before his 23rd birthday. He would go on to relative success during the company's final year, capturing the WCW World Tag Team Titles twice with Sean O'Haire.
Corleone never took off in WWE (despite originally being penciled in for Batista's spot in Evolution), and he was released from his contract in 2005. Though for many U.S. fans that was the end of his story, he would go on to have a very successful career in Mexico. Playing a sex-symbol character, Corleone joined Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, then jumped to Triple A, but finally wound up back in CMLL.
Today, Corleone continues to headline for CMLL, and his status in the sport has made him a crossover star in Mexico. Though he'll turn 40 on June 26 of next year, his sex-symbol status won't be revoked.
