10 Wrestlers We’d Love To See In The NWA
4. Chris Hero
While most people being released from WWE would feel like a disappointment, it's the opposite with the former Kassius Ohno. His arrival back on the independent circuit is primed to be a glorious return to form for the indie legend. Seeing as he's always struggled with larger promotions, NWA would be the perfect size for him.
Hero built a reputation for himself by putting on great matches in promotions like Chikara, CZW, ROH, PWG and more. He has a solid base as a versatile performer who captures classic wrestling vibes whilst still being very forward-thinking. Through this, he could bring something to NWA that matches what they go for while still adding something fresh.
He thrives in most places he goes - excluding WWE - thanks to his everyman vibes. It's hard not to root for him, and while he's a great heel, it would be exciting to see him storm the National Wrestling Alliance as a babyface that the crowd can fully get behind.
Like James Storm, his name brand and star power would help raise the company's stock, and they'd no doubt give him a great place to show off.
