10 Wrestlers We're Most Thankful For In 2020

1. The Undertaker

Earned, understandable cynicism has led to many wrestling fans questioning if Survivor Series 2020 was truly The Undertaker's Final Farewell from WWE. 'The Deadman' has teased stepping away from the ring several times before and, you know, Terry Funk exists. These things rarely stick in a unique sport that invariably pulls "retired" wrestlers back in, though there was a sense of finality about 'Taker's Final Farewell lacking in previous teases.

As reported after the show, it is believed that Vince McMahon will not ask 'Taker to come back and wrestle. The WWE Chairman and CEO was tearing up during the ceremony. From The Godwinns and Charles Wright to Kane and DX, most of Undertaker's old mates were there to help him say goodbye. There was a Paul Bearer hologram.

This feels like the end.

So while 'Taker will leave behind a complicated legacy for some, now is the right time to thank him for 30 years of unflinching service and revisit the classics. Treat yourself to one of the Shawn Michaels WrestleMania matches, 'Mania 28's End of an Era, or the Hell in a Cell that made Mankind famous tonight.

You deserve it.
