10 Wrestlers We're Most Thankful For In 2020
10. Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan is almost a default annual entry on this list, such is his mastery of every aspect of professional wrestling.
He has continually proven himself one of a handful of wrestlers capable of elevating WWE's inconsistent material towards excellence time and time again. From the flubbed return feud with Big Cass and truncated Miz storyline to his role in the panned Erick Rowan/Roman Reigns whodunit saga, Bryan has spent the past few years squeezing deliciously sweet lemonade from rotten old levels, further cementing him as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.
2020 has been a quieter year for Bryan, who elected to stay at home at the onset of the global health crisis. Nonetheless, his 12 June clash with AJ Styles was one of the best TV bouts of the year, empty arena or otherwise, and there's still a money showdown with Roman Reigns on the horizon as well. The duo haven't worked a singles bout since Fastlane 2015 and as a naturally sympathetic babyface, Daniel should mesh well with the domineering 'Tribal Chief.'
Bryan's efforts outside the ring solidify his place here, as the environmentalist is never shy of using his social media platforms to push the world in a better, more sustainable direction. We don't deserve him as a man or performer.
